Program of the 10th Kaposfest 2019

13TH AUGUST

Pál Szinyei Merse Exhibition

Fine arts have been an essencial part of our festival since the very beginning. With Kaposvár being ‘The Painters’ City’ the exhibitions are well integrated to the life of the local audience. The Pál Szinyei Merse Exhibition opened its doors in May 2019 to honor the pioneer of the plein art painting where the artists observe light and color phenomenons in open air and express their impressions on the canvas. The exhibition is held at the Együd Árpád Culture Center, Vaszary Galery. Most of the paintings shown there are from the Hungarian National Galery and from private and public collections from Szeged, Miskolc, Győr and Pécs. The interested guests can attend two guided tours (in Hungarian) from wich one is a unique night tour.

Flower Bath Kaposvár

The Flower Bath Kaposvár is awaiting every guest who wants to relax for a bit between the concerts and additional programs. Those guests who possess either a Kaposfest seasonal ticket  or a valid ticket for any concert will receive a 50% discount from the bath ticket.
